Hi, I’m Efaf.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can finally take a breath, put down some of what you’ve been carrying, and be fully yourself.
As a first-generation Persian American who moved to the U.S. in my early twenties, I understand that finding your place in the world can sometimes mean navigating different cultures, expectations, relationships, and versions of yourself. I know what it can feel like to care deeply about where you come from while also trying to understand where you’re going.
These experiences have shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I work with people who are often used to being the strong one—the person others rely on, the caretaker, the helper, or the one who keeps everything together. Sometimes that means becoming disconnected from your own needs, questioning yourself, or feeling like there isn’t much room for you.
In our work together, you don’t have to have everything figured out. We can slow down, listen to what’s happening beneath the surface, and make space for the parts of you that may have been overlooked for a long time.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you already carry important wisdom about yourself. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be. It’s to help you reconnect with yourself, build self-trust, and feel more at home in your own life.
If something here feels familiar, you’re welcome to reach out. We can start with a conversation and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
