Coaching
Coaching offers a space to pause, get curious about what's holding you back, and start making choices that feel more like your own.
What can we work on together?
Coaching is an opportunity to focus on where you are now and where you want to go.
You don't need to have everything figured out before we begin.
Together, we can explore:
Getting unstuck: Understanding what's keeping you in the same patterns and identifying a realistic next step.
Building self-trust: Making decisions with greater confidence instead of second-guessing yourself or looking for everyone's approval.
Setting boundaries: Learning to honor your needs without feeling responsible for everyone's reactions.
Navigating change: Finding your footing through career transitions, new chapters, changing relationships, or shifts in identity.
Letting go of perfectionism: Making room for progress, flexibility, and the freedom to be human.
Reconnecting with yourself: Clarifying your values, needs, and priorities so your life reflects what matters to you.
Is coaching right for me?
Coaching may be a good fit if you're ready to reflect, make intentional changes, and take practical steps toward your goals. You might be looking for more clarity in your career or relationships, wanting to build confidence, or learning how to stop putting yourself last.
You don't have to be in crisis to want something to change. Sometimes, you simply reach a point where the way you've been doing things no longer feels right, and you're ready to explore another way.
Coaching works best when you're open to self-reflection and willing to experiment with new ways of approaching everyday life.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Although both can support personal growth, they serve different purposes.
Coaching focuses on present-day challenges, personal goals, values, decision-making, accountability, and moving toward the changes you want to make.
Therapy provides mental health assessment and treatment, including support for psychological distress, mental health conditions, and trauma-related concerns.
As a licensed therapist, I take the distinction between these services seriously. Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy or mental health treatment. If your needs are better suited to therapy, we can discuss appropriate next steps and options for support.
What is your coaching style?
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I'm interested not only in what you want to change, but also in understanding the patterns that may be making change difficult.
Can I work with you if I live outside California?
Coaching may be available to clients outside California, depending on their location and applicable laws and professional requirements.
Reach out to discuss your location and whether coaching is an appropriate option for you.
How much does coaching cost?
Coaching fees and session options will be discussed before we begin.
If you're interested in working together, you can schedule a consultation to talk about your goals, ask questions, and see whether the approach feels like a good fit.
Ready to make space for what comes next?
You don't need a five-year plan or a perfectly clear vision of your future. You can start with a question, a feeling that something needs to change, or a desire to feel more like yourself again.
Note: Coaching is available nationwide across the U.S. and is kept entirely separate from clinical psychotherapy.
